My plex server started skipping frames recently. It is hardwired 1GBS with my Windows machine running the Plex Server. I have been running this fine for a long time now. I have been streaming 4K movies with no issues. But the last few days I tried playing even just a 1080p bluray and it starts skipping some frames. It just skips ahead a half a second. Without warning and with no apparent issues with the network. If I watch these straight from the hard drive, no issues. BUt streaming with Plex through either Chrome on the computer or the Nvidia shield and start getting these random skips. My assumption that the Plex server has recently been updated. BUt I have automatic updates on, so I wouldn’t know. Is anyone else having this issue or know of anything to try to resolve it?
