PLEX stop running every day

Hello,

My plex server stops running every day at night, when i wake up in the morning i have to go to DSM and click RUN on the package.

It’s need, been a two weeks, and am not sure why.
Any idea?

Server Version#: 1.30.1.6550-7000
Player Version#: Plex for Mac 1.62.2.34.51

  1. Verify Plex Media Server is configured for debug, not verbose, logging.
    Settings → Server_Name → General + Show Advanced

  2. Restart Plex.

  3. After the next time Plex stops:
    a) Start Plex Media Server
    b) Wait 3 minutes for Plex to start and the log files to capture everything
    c) Pull the log files (Settings → Troubleshooting) and upload the ZIP file to the thread.

The logs will confirm but I believe that version has the loudness analysis bug so you may want to upgrade to the version that fixes that

Alternativelt, turn off loudness analysis on your music library.

Yes. Looking at the version. This was fixed in the Plex Server update.

Yeah, I was thinking @ThyOrth is running into the loudness bug, but wanted the log files to confirm.

I loaded 1.30.2.6563, current public release, on my DS918+ yesterday and created a music library with 25 albums. Loudness & Sonic analysis ran during scheduled tasks without a problem. This does not replicate the issue that causes the crash, but it does show that both tasks will run OK during system mainteneance.

Hello,

I have unticked the Verbose logging as suggested earlier
And have updated to the latest Server version.
No crashes yesterday, so i didn’t have the chance to capture the crash log.
