Plex stops playing after exact 12 minutes

[BUG] Plex stops audio/video playback after around 8 minutes

Server Version#: 1.18.7.2457-77cb9455c Player Version#: 7.29.0.15876 (shield tv 2017) After around 8 minutes of playback the audio/video on the NVIDIA SHIELD TV 2017 stops, the server just continues to send data as if nothing is wrong. I can see the progress on the server and exit the video, playback will resume at the timestamp that the server showed, so in the background everything works as expected. Glancing briefly I see:

[BUG] Plex stops audio/video playback after around 8 minutes

Check the setting in your server under Network->Terminate Sessions Paused for Longer Than and make sure its set to 0. This is a bug that was reported in beta forums but apparently made it to the 7.29 release.

I have no idea if that’ll do it for you - it’s worth a shot.
