Plex Streaming Live TV Issues on Roku

Since the new update, I am unable to play a large collection of my live TV channels on roku. These channels are confirmed working directly though VLC and on a PC running plex as well.

Happy to provide logs or whatever else is needed to help

I was about to report the same, both my Roku sticks have not been able to play back Live TV or recorded DVR programs since the update.

I was just doing some testing to write down the current settings and on a whim set ‘Direct Play’ from ‘Auto’ to ‘force’ and that seemed to fix both Live TV and DVR playback for me.

No idea why as it has worked for years on the previous setting.

I appear to have the same issues with using the web player, though the windows plex app and HTPC apps work just fine, so again not sure what’s going on there but they all worked up to recently!

Thanks for the tip, that worked on my roku ultras. Not sure why that needed to be changed, or what it does but it at least resolved my issue!
