Plex stuck on "detecting intros" - some shows won't play

Hello everyone. New to the forums here. I’m having problems with my Plex Server. I’m running it on a NAS (Synology DS720+) with WD Red 6TB HDD. I just put a large batch of files on the drive (approximately 2.5TB worth) and started a new plex server and added the files to my server. All were TV series.

This was done about 3 days ago and I noticed that I’m not able to watch particular shows. Just says something about a playback error. It’s completely random at what will play though. However, I do notice that my server has been thinking since the addition. Activity drop down menu says “Detecting intros: Modern Family S7” and has said that for approximately 2 days now. I’ve scoured forums and sites to try to “unstick” the problem with no luck.

Anyone know what is going on? I used to run my Plex server from an old laptop in which I had a WD Black 6TB drive plugged into and it worked great. Wanted to upgrade to a Synology to help streamline things and I’m running into problems I’ve never encountered before.

I was actually able to get the intro scanning to stop. I had read in a forum to try and restart Plex, so I did, but this didn’t solve the problem. And then it occurred to me to try and restart my Synology server. Once I restarted this, it solved the issue.
