Plex subtitles don't play on the 2nd half of 2 part 4K movies

Player Version#: 8.19.3

Mulitpart 4K movies in MKV format seen correctly by plex server as one,Plex app on 4K TV plays back part two after part 1 without issue,however subtitles don’t play on the 2nd half of the movie, but do on the first half.
I have checked subtitle playback setting on plex app on 4K andriod TV and options are limited.
Subtitles for each part of the movie plays fine on VLC Player.

The naming of the movie seems to be in correct format:
Name of the Movie (year) - disc1.mkv
Name of the Movie (year) - disc2.mkv

Has anyone experienced this isue and managed to fix it?

Get mkvtoolnix-gui and stitch that together into a single file
with subtitle as the third stream.

  3. Subtitle.
