Plex subtitles not working with multiple versions

I have multiple versions of many movies and TV shows and when I try to add subtitles by searching for them via the plex interface it often doesn’t work. It does show that it downloaded it (shows a ‘V’ icon next to it) but then doesn’t show up in the list.
So what it appears to be is that the subtitles that are all downloaded only show up for 1 version of the movie/episode.

Is this intended behaviour because it definitely doens’t look like that to me.

Btw my all my versions are in completely different folders.
So /Movies4K/XXXX /MoviesRemux/XXXX/

I am having subtitle issues when using Plex Optimized Version. When playing my TV show with an Optimized Version and downloading a subtitle using the built in search in Plex, the subtitles won’t show up. I deleted the Optimized Version and tried again and it works successfully. As a note, I tried adding external, SRT files in the Optimized Version and it still didn’t work (even renamed the subtitles like 5 times to see if that would help but it did not).
