Plex Sync - "Waiting to be converted"

Hey all,

I’ve read a lot about the continuing issues that Plex Sync has had over the past few years, and I have yet to find a solution to the problem that I am now facing - “Waiting to be converted” in the Plex server while syncing an episode to iOS. I’ve tried on several devices and multiple accounts, all with the same result. Server is version 1.3.3.3148, running on the official Docker image on Ubuntu Server 16.04. Hardware is a Dell R610 with 2x Xeon X5650s and 48GB RAM, so I don’t think the hardware is the issue at fault.

Has anyone come to a conclusion on how to fix this Sync issue?

I have run the appropriate debug logs from both my iPhone and from the server itself, and can provide them to the Plex team if necessary. Thanks!

Bumping thread - It’s been 16 hours since I started the sync process, and it hasn’t done a thing at this point. Still says “Pending” on my iPhone, and Plex Server Web UI still shows “Waiting to be converted”.

The server hasn’t had anything playing from it for about 12 hours now.

Not a peep here, which sucks.

For anyone who stumbles upon this thread, it appears as though my server conversions were “paused” - how do these get paused? https://plex.url.com/web/index.html#!/status/conversion showed that I had six sync convert operations paused for some reason. Any ideas why this was the case? I’ve never even been in that page before.

Regardless, it appears to be working now.
