Plex Transcoder Crashing Non-stop for a speific Clip (1.18.4.2171)

Hi, this is not the 1st time I have had this issue, but this out of my hands. & the source file is from a stream capture.

I have noticed it only happens when subtitles are enabled though & it occurs on the stable build of plex as well.

Edit: it seems the subtitle (.ass) is causing the crash it seems

causes plex to crash in the clip. would really like to have a fix to troublesome subtiltes like these…

it seems plex doesnt like foreign characters in there ∈ <-- cause the crash (VLC crashes also)

thanks for report. wonder if an ffmpeg issue if VLC is having issues as well with it.

is it crashing in both the web app and plex media player? Do you know if HW transcoder is enabled?

both web app & plex media player & what do you mean by HW, do you mean hardware acceleration? i have that enabled. <-- with or without it enabled it still crashes.
