I realize that this problem has been mentioned by many people before me, but I really can’t figure out how to solve it. I have my PMS on a Windows 10 server and play my files on Windows 10 browser, Chromecast and Nvidia Shield. Whenever I play a 1080p movie on my Nvidia Shield with subtitles activated, I stutters every 5 seconds or so… however not only can I play that file on my browser or Chromecast without any issue, but I also can play any 4K movie on my Nvidia Shield with subtitles disabled flawlesly.
Is there a direct way to stop the PMS from transcoding the file when subtitles are activated?
