Plex Tuner does not find any channel

Hi

I’ve subscribed a premium plex pass to replace by working tvheadend solution with and integrated solution with plex. I’m running plex on raspian and having an hauppauge wintv dualHD USB stick. Plex release is 1.18.3.2156.

The configuration screen detects by tuner but the scan does not find any channel. I suggests to connect my antenna, which is connected indeed:

prior posting this thread, i’ve:

• read the other related topics
• installed the firmware from hauppauge site
• checked user / group access rights on the devices adapter0 & 1
• i ran the w_scan2 (as plex user using sudo) and it does detects the channels.

In the log file, i get the following warning:
Dec 30, 2019 15:40:11.299 [0x6d1ff450] WARN - [E] dvb_channel_scanner_t::do_scan_attempt. Tune failed for 546000,8,

(on this frequency, it should have found several services)

Any idea?

Can you verify that the WinTV device actually works outside of Plex? If the Plex tuner can’t find any channels, you may want to troubleshoot the card, independently, before trying to get it to work with Plex.

Yes WinTV USB stick does work. I’ve tested it with TVHeadend and it was able to scan 29 channels and look at few of them.
