When multiple people (3 for example) are watching the same channel on live tv, only 1 tuner from the iptv is being used, but Plex still shows 3 being used. If my iptv service only has 3 tuners and 3 people are watching the same channel and someone else wanted to watch as well, they would not be able to because Plex says that all the tuners are being used. This seems to be an issue with the way live tv tuners is programmed since an unlimited number of people should be able to watch the same channel at the same time since they are using the same stream, not creating a new one for each user watching.
Edit: after doing some testing, this seems to be an issue with the “tuner status” indicator on the live tv settings, as it shows total streams being used even if there are still tuners available.
