Plex TV Agent & TVDB DVD Order - Any Progress?

Since migrating to the new Plex TV Agent, shows (usually cartoons) that were previously matched to the TVDB DVD Order do not pull the correct metadata, or do not pull all metadata for all seasons.

I know this was reported before, but has there been any progress made on correcting this? Is there any way to force the old TVDBDvDAgent to be used on a per series basis instead of having to break apart into a separate library?

Can you provide a specific example of a series with which you are having issues (name, directory structure for the series, file names, etc…)? My experience is that DVD order works fine with the Plex TV Series agent.

I can corroborate this… but I think some specific shows had some issues so detailing which ones aren’t working and some settings\file details will help.

It’s primarily children’s cardtoon’s that are off.

Two examples are:

Muppet Babies (2018)
PJ Masks

File names are setup in the normal Plex method, ie:

Muppet Babies (2018) - S02E01 - The Froginizer _ My Fair Animal.mp4
PJ Masks - S02E01 - Moonfizzle Balls + Soccer Ninjalinos.mkv

In Plex, they just have empty metadata…ie Episode 1, Episode 2, etc

I remembered “PJ Masks” being reported before and thought that might apply here… but it was you!

We’ll see if one of the devs can confirm these shows having bad metadata matching in that case.
