I want to post that there are still dvd order issues with the new agent
The office is a long running issue because in the aired order certain episodes are in two pieces while in the dvd/bluray order they are one file
For Season 6 episode 4 - if you use dvd order on the old agent it uses the name of the first episode from aired order Niagra (part 1) - for the new agent with dvd tvdb selected it just doesn’t pull metadata at all for summary or name
This is still a big issue
I ran full plex dance and removed bundles and then added it back - no cigar
This affects both the legacy and modern agents and it’s a TVDB api issue.
The only difference between the agents is that the legacy agent doesn’t reset the episode metadata, so if you had it on airing order and switch to DVD order and refresh, it will still show the metadata for the airing order. The modern agent will unset the metadata on the episodes.

I realize this is a long running tvdb issue - my issue is instead of cutting the difference like the classic agent does and setting niagra(1) as the name - i get nothing
EDIT: @drzoidberg33 i missed two things in your post - i see the issue with the classic pulling the wrong manager and salesman episode because thats not even the right episode for 16 in dvd order
And i see that last note that once you move over to v4 api this will be fixed- sounds great to me
Added question - with tvdb adding all sorts of orders like amazon and netflix - will the agent update support all that nonsense ?
Would you be able to comment about the possibility of the agent adding “BluRay ordering” from TVDB, which would fix my issue with The Office for folks who bought the blurays and DVD ordering isn’t correct.
Found this as I am in the middle of adding the blu-ray of Batman The Complete Animated Series and of course would really like to see the blu-ray ordering support option added for Plex.
As an aside, I do want to thank all the Devs who work on Plex! I’m sure you get tired of only hearing people complain about all the endless features to add while never getting thanks for everything that has been added.

Take a look at season 4. Basically, the Blurays vs the DVDs had different 2 part episode naming conventions . My old dvds were accurate per the dvd ordering, but the blurays combined a couple that is correctly captured in BluRay ordering, but PLEX doesn’t have the ability to select this.
If it’s just a few episodes which are combined, simply “jump” over the episode numbers.
This is the easiest workaround – even if it means that you will get gaps in your episode numbers.
