Hello - I found an issue with connecting Plex server on Asustor NAS 3302T.
Context:
I made some edits to the IP address on the NAS and HDHomerun. This resulted in a lost connection between the NAS and Silicondust HD Homerun.
After trying multiple approaches: reinstall Plex, restart NAS, disconnecting and reconnecting HDHomerun etc. it would stilln not work. Incidentally even after providing the specific IP address and clicking connect, it would not work.
Workaround:
In looking at the logs it seemed that Plex.tv was looking for the HDHomerun device at a specific IP. The device IP for HDHomerun was now different, and thus it could not find HDHomerun at that specific IP. I restructured the router to provide HDhomerun to IP address which Plex was searching. This worked like a charm and HDHomerun could detect the device.
Issue:
For some reason, even after the device is deleted Plex is looking for the HDHomerun device on that specific old id, which should not have been the case.
