Plex TV/DVR setup fails due to no channel guide matches

When I try to set up my live TV and DVR I get the following error: “There was a problem saving you DVR. Please try again.”
This occurs after the set up fails to properly load the channel guide for the Local Over the Air Broadcast. I cannot match the actual OTA channels to any guide (even if I try another guide). In either case, no channels are automatically found; “Select Channel” is the only thing in the drop down if I manually select a channel.

I am not able to replicate this issue using a zip code for San Francisco (94016). When I DVR setup I am seeing Guide Channels on the right side to select from.

I tried this with an older version I had installed 1.12.0. something as well as the current 1.13.5.5291 beta channel version.

Have you tried other zip codes? If so which ones?

I tried both 94403 and 94401, neither worked. In the mean time, I also downloaded an XMLTV file and tried to use that. It also didn’t work but I will try the zip code you used and report back.

I rebooted the NAS which rebooted the PlexServer, and I updated the firmware on the server. And then it worked. No idea why because the Firmware upgrade was just released about a week ago, before that I was up to date.

Hopefully, this helps someone else.
