Player Version#: 3.71.1 win plex media player
So since upgrading to this release the guide is disappearing. And I am unsure what actually is causinWIg it reappear. I use both the WIN Plex Media Player and WEB and more the frist lately.
–when guide disappears I can still see information using the DISCOVERY view.
–from a combination of recyleing the server, players and refreshing guide something trips it to show up again.
–when the GUIDE is empty it states that yet the DISCOVERY view shows me the shows. It states to do a refresh which begins the process of refreshing and when that almost never works recylcing the server, players, etc in some combination that eventually a refresh brings the guide back.
–Its annoying and now I am using YOUTUBE live tv more now than my Plex TV!
Known issue with the guide data provider, Plex is working with them to get it resolved.
Yeah i saw that message on this forum AFTER I submitted this. I have not been paying attention much otherwise lately. Thanks. Hope they fix it soon. For me it seems to have started since upgrading from my last version of plex some N numbers ago so it may be conincidence it showed up on my recent upgrade and not really plex direct issue as it seems.
what I dont understand is right now at 8:15 ny time I can see the guide in the plex web client but i again can’t see it in the media player client again. When I left earlier in the day I could see it in both. I think something else iw wrong with the WIN Plex Meida client itselff too not just the guide data provider issue.
