Plex TV not working with Hauppauge WinTV-soloHD Windows10

Had Plex tv working with Win7 and Avertv volar green HD tuner., Upgraded to Win10 and tuner would no longer work. Plex tuner support said channel selection didnt work on win10 so purchased the approved tuner above but with the same result.
In set up if I put the xml epg file nothing happens and scan stops after about 1 sec. If I then scan for channels in Melbourne ( or Australia) I get the message no channels found.
WinTv works with the tuner and picks up all the local channels so it is to do with the plex setup.
Can anyone help?

Thank you.I clicked on the log file and it appears to have recovered my log for the tuner is this correct? I have sent it on to Hauppauge support who are trying to help.

Yes Hauppauge Support have been in touch,
Will try and see if we can reproduce the problem

Could you check if Windows Update for your Windows 10 is to up to date
and let me know what version / build number shows up when you display “System Information”

Windows states “up to date” Windows 10.0.19043 Build 19043

@ghocking That’s a long way from being up to date, as that’s still 21H1 and not even 21H2

Although said up to date was waiting for me to manually update to 21H2 which I have now done.
Now 10.0.19044 Build 19044 Retried trying to connect tuner with same result.

Checked and doesnt exist. There is nothing in the dvb folder except another folder

Thank you for your help but I have fixed the problem. I previously had a Avertv volar green HD tuner. which wouldn’t work with Win 10. I uninstalled all the associated programs before installing the Wintv tuner but I decided to do a search to see if any remnants might be the problem. I found files in Program Data and registry and removed them and then the Wintv tuner was able to find the channels.
The log now only shows one error the absence of the drv_file.ini file which appears doesnt matter.
