User has reported that they can select subtitles but they do not display on any movie or show. The same subtitles and same movies work fine on my PlexTV app on same gen FireStick whilst locally connected.
You’re gonna need to post the server logs for when the remote user tried to play it back for anything to happen here. If you’re using the same setup and it works that would point to the issue being on the remote user’s side. Plex may possibly need the client logs of the remote user, too. But server logs would be easier for you to get for now.
I had the same problem just now—just reboot the Fire TV or Force Stop and Launch Application Plex TV and it should work again.
