Player Version#: 5.43.1 (Plex for Samsung)
Following an update to the Samsung app, the app can no longer reach my server. The server and TV are both on the same network. I can access the web app as well as the PS4 app and play videos with no issue. The TV is a Samsung Q80A. All devices are wired through the same router on the same 192.168.0.x subnet
Steps taken:
- updated Server (it was 2 updates behind; this made no difference)
- set TV app to always allow insecure connections and prefer insecure connections (no difference)
- removed TV from device list and re-linked (no difference)
- uninstalled Plex from TV, reinstalled, re-linked (no difference)
I’m fairly confident in saying the problem is the Samsung app because everything was working perfectly prior to the latest update and I made no changes whatsoever to any settings before then. But I don’t see any way to roll back the app, so am I SOL?
