Plex unavailable on DSM 6.2.2 - relocated

Logs show no entries regarding the Plex startup.

Hello All,

on my DS218+ the Plex Media Server suddenly stopped working. I’m not sure what i did. Maybe there was an update, maybe it has something to do that i added a second disk to the NAS.

The logs (Protocol Center) don’t show any entries relatet to Plex. I already downloaded the newest version here and used it.

I also went through the process described to an unfriendly user here:

and accessed the DiskStation via SSH to start Plex manually. Everything looks fine, no exception /error / warning is shown during the startup.

But none of my devices can reach the Plex Media Server.

According to the Synology Packet Manager, Plex Media Server is running fine!

I’m running out of ideas what to do…

apparently my hijack was not unusuable for him, as he resolved his problem when seen the possibility to catch some logs.
