Plex User permissions for Default Plex Share (Synology)

Hey,

I just updated my PMS on synology yesterday and ran into that permissions issue.

I was keeping my media in the Plex Default Folder, and its permission was set to “Custom”
so I changed that to R/W. Everything went back to normal

But later I decided to create a separate share for my media (which was also recommended by Plex), and now I wanted to know, what should I do about the Plex Default folder permissions ?

Does it need to go back to Custom, or R/W or R/O ?

Oh and another thing, after updating to PMS 1.15.6.1079

I saw those 6 empty files, and I kinda deleted those (thinking it was some virus), hope deleting those won’t create any trouble.

The Plex share should be left alone.
This is for metadata only.
If it runs, just leave it alone.
