I cant tell when this started happening (estimate the last 7-14 days) but all newly added Episodes are displayed with 1900-01-01 as the Originally available date on QNAP NAS, Windows Plex Server shows 2036-02-07 for the same episodes.
I have done a little reading but there is no conclusive method or cure. I’m on Plex TV Scanner and this hasn’t been changed since TV Shows were upgraded to the new scanner.
Any help appreciated as manually changing isn’t really a viable long term option.

I’m having the same issue. All tv shows from mid March are showing as orginally available 1900-01-01. I have tried “fix match” and “refresh metadata” but nothing works???

Yes. Exact same issue here. Same server version and timeframe. I use Synology DSM, however.
I just saw this from Dane22: Known issue and should be fixed very soon.
I can confirm that the latest Beta Build Version 1.27.0.5849 appears to have cured the issue for me.
I just installed 1.27.0.5897 and unfortunately that did not fix my issue with episode release dates showing as ‘January 1, 1900’.
