Plex vs LG tv?

Hey all…so have been a plex user for years.

I have an instance where I am;

At a friend’s house and they can access my plex account through phone and PC with zero issues.

However, whenever we try to access the same account through their LG tv… no go.

Everything is signed in the same. The only difference is that on the LG even though I see my plex server and when I click on my movies and see ALL of my movies, the server will hang and never actually play a movie when I click on the movie. What’s up? Thank you!!!

Please provide Plex server debug logs…

Check the bandwidth settings in the LG Plex app for remote connections. Change to maximum/original if set to a lower level (the default is 2 Mbps or 4 Mbps).

In addition to the server logs…

Set the Plex app on the TV to log to server at the debug level (not sure if this works for remote clients). The setting times out after 8 hours.

Play a video with subtitles disabled, to avoid video transcoding.

Sorry for the late response. Here is the server log. The date was the 12th before 2 am that I was trying to get Plex to work.

The log file is for the 13th.

Attach the entire zip file. It contains all the log files, .1.log…5.log.

All the logs are from the 13th. When you get a chance, pull new ones when the LG is attempting to stream.
