Plex vs. new Plexamp app song selection algorithm

I downloaded the new Plexamp app and I have noticed major differences is how songs are chosen when I do a music mix in Plex vs. Plexamp. First of all Plex people, thank you so much for Plexamp because finally the app isn’t crashing after a few songs, which was really frustrating, especially when running, exercising, etc. The one thing that I’ve noticed though is that the song choices are totally different with the two apps on my android device.
I have 4000 albums in my collection and about 20% are either Phish or the Grateful Dead. When I play a random music mix through Plex, whether on my phone or through Sonos, I hear a Phish song probably 20% of the time, and the same songs keep playing, Ghost and Character Zero. I’ve been using Plexamp the past week and it’s great. The app doesn’t crash and the mix has been great. No song repeats, and it seems to be much more diverse mix. My point is that the Plexamp “Library Radio” seems to be much more random than the Plex app’s “random” music mix selection.
My request would be that whatever your algorithm is for Plexamp Library Radio be the same for Plex random music selection. It’s obvious that they’re very different, but I much prefer the Plexamp mix because A) the app isn’t crashing for me anymore, and B) it seems like a true mix and is not playing the same bands or songs disproportionally over others.
