I've used both on my raspberry pi and I have to say Plex is far far better. It is however missing a couple of options and I wondered if they are there and I'm not seeing them.
Both options relate to the iPhone/iPad apps which I use to control the player.
1-when something is playing, the only way to forward/rewind is to use the clunky chapter select buttons. Is there a way to get a slider, like in the normal video player app?
2- the XBMX app has a button for changing subtitles and language, but in Plex I have to go through a menu to do this. Is there a short cut?
Regaring point #1, I fixed Small & Big Forward / reverse jumps on iOS remote last night so it should be part hopefully of next release.
Regarding point #2 : i have no clue, should be the same shortcut as for official PHT i guess ...
To point 2, pressing "s" should enable the default/primary subtitle.

In that case make sure you ignore the virtual keyboard button on it ;)
Didn’t even see that! So it’s a to change the subtitle track, and what button to change the audio track? I’ve tried a few with no luck. Shame it doesn’t pop up on the screen and tell you it’s changed.
The ‘m’ bring up the player controls which allow you to change a number of things, including those that you want to do.
The good thing is that the Plex server will remember your choices if you go to resume or play that piece of media again, even on a different client.
