Bugs that have been going on for years that they can’t fix. That I have submitted logs for many many times and have led to there reps just disappearing instead of trying to solve the problems. Others have also seen this bug but they don’t even ask for logs.
Was not a developer some plex helper that would ask questions going around and around in circles. If he did not understand what was going on after a year and a half of posts he should have bowed out and gotten someone else to help.
And the actual quote was “I wanted to tell him to ___ off”, I never told him to so.
Being him a dev or not, being him part of plex or not, what you did was not ok. You had some of your posts removed, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I read to topics you mentioned, you kept being aggressive from the start, you still are being aggressive about it.
If you are that much angry with Plex, stop using it, stop paying for the Plex pass. If you brought the lifetime pass then you liked it enough to do that.
If you instead want to keep using it and have the possible bug you are facing fixed then open a topic submitting your bug report, providing information about it (logs as well). It’s ok to mention you are frustrated with that bug and that you are facing it for a long time.
Then be grateful to anyone who replies to your topic trying to help you.
How much would you want to help someone who is being aggressive even with those trying to help him/her? Just think about that for a second.
I sure as hell do not disappear when I am helping someone. I have done customer support in the past and do all I can to help, if I can not handle a problem I find someone that can better assist.
I do not care what you think is ok. If someone that has been in a thread comes back in after months of ignoring it, says “what is the problem”, or when someone asks for logs when there were logs posted by me and others already in the thread there is a mental disconnect or lack of caring there and I am for sure going to get aggressive about it and call them out. If they want to play the fool, I am going to treat them as such.
They have no intention of fixing anything. Here is another example of what a joke they are.
Same problem, posted by another user, ignored for a month.
No, I expect to get what I paid for. They sell a Plex Pass based on getting certain features. Mobile syncing is one of them. Never had a Android device before but now I have one and see that on it, it is just as bad if not worse. Its a paid service. DVD a paid service, but does not record reliably. Live TV a paid service, crashes and is not reliable. If these were free then big deal, but people are paying for those services and they instead add VR, News and a ■■■■■■ new UI that nobody wants and do not fix the items that people pay for. They even stopped fixing bugs that carried over to the new version.
