I have an interesting issue. I recently added users that if I removed them would just be a conversation I don’t want to have.
I’ve noticed that they just run it all night when they are sleeping. Is there any way to set from the server to enforce are you still watching prompt after two hours?
Plex recently added an option for that, but it’s aiming at users setting this for themselves.
There’s now also a suggestion to have such a timeout for the server owner.
I see it on the client side, and its called Pass Out Protection on my Samsung TV. It makes no sense to not have a server side control since it is our bandwidth / hardware running for no reason. Just frustrating to not have a control for this.
There’s always the ultimate control of kicking them off your server if they keep doing this after you’ve repeatedly asked them not to.
I haven’t found anything, and ultimately I had a talk with the people doing it. Would be nice to control this server side, but until server side feature is a thing having awkward conversations is the play.
