Plex watched status - backup and restore

Hello,
don’t understand how it works.

Started using Plex Server in Ubuntu 18.04 server.
Watching my library in Apple TV4, Samsung TV, MacBook Pro, iPhone and Samsung S10+.
There is separate file with watch status for all device? Or all device’s status is in one database file ($PLEX_HOME/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases/) ?

I’m asking because I will make restore reset of iPhone and MacBook Pro and I don’t want to lose status of watched TV shows and movies.

The watched status is stored on your server.
If you only change or reinstall a client, you don’t need to backup anything.
