Plex Web cannot load "My Tidal" tab

Hello - I recently subscribed to the Tidal trial to test out the Plex integration (RIP Google Play Music).

In the web player, in various different web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge Chrome) - the Music On Tidal page works. It loads the Recommended section fine. However when I try to use the My Tidal tab in that page, it doesn’t load. I saw it load some content originally, but after scrolling down through the content it crashed and now it fails to load any content.

I verified that Music is enabled in the Online Media Sources settings. Please help, thanks!

Yep I’ve been getting this for the past couple of days too.

Update: Something seems to have changed and it is now working again.

This is still broken for me. My Tidal trial just ended and I got billed by Plex, but I haven’t actually been able to fully test / utilize the integration

Sorry about this!

We’re working on a fix for this issue, which should be deployed soon. I can let you know when it’s live.

That sounds great - thanks for the reply. I shall patiently await the fix

This should be fixed now. Please let me know if not!

Hmm still not working - is there a server version or anything required? I tried the following:

  • Checked for server update - none found
  • Restarted client
  • Restarted server and then restarted client

It shouldn’t require a server version, since it’s a cloud provider.

Just so I have everything I need: you get an error on My Tidal every time you load it?
Are you able to switch between types – i.e. artists/albums/types?

The Recommended tab loads correctly, but nothing loads for me in My Tidal. It spins on the load animation for ~30 seconds then gives the error message in the OP.

OK, thanks for the report! We did ship a fix to MY TIDAL that I figured would solve your problem, but looks like it didn’t!

I’ll dig in and see what I can find out.

Thank you sir! Appreciate the support

Howdy! We’re zeroing in on the issue with this one. We just shipped an update that should hopefully allow you to load the screen – it might still be quite slow (we’re still iterating on making this better).

Let me if you can load it now!

Music playback had a few kinks (I got a few errors on a few attempts, but does now appear to be working). I think it may have been a little slow to buffer the song? Maybe it’s related to the mentioned performance issue?

Edit:
On Firefox, I intermittently get “Error code: s1001 (Network)”
On Chromium, I’m having a hard time playing songs with “Error code: h4 (Not Supported)”

Note:
Also, I realize this may be a separate issue from the original intent of this thread! Just wanted to add these details in case they’re helpful

‘My Tidal Playlist’ is getting the same “There was an unexpected error loading this library”
