I am having an issue accessing my sever though the plex website. I am having no issues with any other device in my house or the windows app. It says I need to set my connection to allow unsecured connections, which is fine but the website will not allow me to access the network settings. It does give me a link to access the the sever using an ip address, so it’s still usable on my PC but it is something I would like to fix for ease of use. Any help would be appreciated.

What is your server setting for secure communications?
Settings → Server_Name → Network → Secure Connections: Disabled/Preferred/Required
If Disabled, change it to Preferred and Save Changes.
Sever version is 4.62.1
Thanks for the reply. I understand how to set the connection to allow unsecured connections. The issue is that, when I click on the sever name, it doesn’t display any options to get to the network settings to change the secure connection. I’ve included a screen shot so you can see what I mean.
Can you connect directly to the server using http, not https?

Substitute the actual IP address of your server for pms_ip_address. ex: http://192.168.1.2:32400/web.
Yes, when it tells me that it can’t connect it gives me a link that routes me to an http site using the ip address and it finds the sever fine. It started doing this a few updates ago. Like I said in the first post, I’d like to fix it, if possible, for ease of use. I really only use it on my PC when I’m traveling so if it’s just the way it is now, I can deal with it.

Accessing the server via app.plex.tv requires secure communications.
You cannot access the server securely.
You can access the server insecurely.
It appears secure communications is disabled (or at least unavailable).
That is why I’m asking you to verify the server’s secure communication settings.
I have reset your server certificate, because it was expired and for some reason a new one hasn’t been created.
Shut down your server and restart it.
Make sure an internet connection is available.
Remove all VPNs and internet filters beforehand.
