Browse to https://<IP_OF_WINDOWS>:32400/web and see if that works
I’m afraid not. No change.
If you browse to:
Browse to https://<IP_OF_WINDOWS>:32400/identity does it say claimed="1" ?
And if so, do make sure that your browser is signed into plex.tv with the same user you claimed it with using my tool
Hi Dane22, may I just clarify exactly which IP you mean by “Windows IP”, just so I can check I’m using the right one? Thank you!
I mean the IP Address of your Windows server, and if running the browser on that, you could use http://127.0.0.1/identity
Good morning Dane22! No, “Claimed = 0”
Many thanks for your help. I really am very grateful.
Andy.
Huh…That means it’s not claimed!
Please try and run my tool again, followed by yet another check of /identity
Hello, could this last issue be related to Plex on Synology - cannot add media server - #3 by milias?
Yes, but this is Windows platform, so a different procedure ![]()
Hi Dane22, I think we’re making progress. Having run the tool again, the server now seems to be claimed (Claimed=1)…but there is still no sign of my media, and still no “Servers” option.
Thanks!
Andy.
Please zip the PMS Logs, and upload
Any idea where the Logs might be? I don’t see a “Logs” folder under the PMS anywhere. Thanks!
My post above said PMS Logs <= It’s a link to a support article ![]()
Aha.
I hope this is what you wanted…
PMS Log.txt (64.0 KB)
I didn’t set the Debug level to “Verbose”…thought it might generate too much! ![]()
Sadly not, since what you gave me is the Web-Client log
I need a zip of the logs directory
C:\Users\Tommy\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Logs
Replace Tommy with your user name
The resulting zip is 100MB, therefore too big to upload. Are there any particular logs you need, rather than all of them? Thank you!
All Plex Media Server.X.log files
Here you go! Only 5 of them.
Logs.zip (563.1 KB)
Hmmm…Your log shows this:
Sep 18, 2022 06:42:21.519 [1412] DEBUG - PublicAddressManager: got WAN IP 10.244.180.163 from router
Sep 18, 2022 06:42:21.519 [1412] WARN - PublicAddressManager: WAN IP is a private IP address
So it sounds like you are behind a double nat?
So please describe your setup, with routers and all
I don’t know anything about nats. I am connected to a router provided by my ISP. That’s all I know really. I don’t use a VPN, if that has any bearing. Thanks!
