I start having problems with my Plex App not seeing the content of my libraries (movies, tv shows and music) affecting my Windows PC, Android TV, Android Tablet, and Android Phone.
However my Plex App will display and play items that I have put into a Playlist using any of my devices. My Plex Server was on a dedicated windows PC and my content was on an attached external hard drive. Everything worked great!
Going through and troubleshooting I have got to the point of rebooting, deleting and reinstalling my Plex server and Plex app. I’m still having the same original problem and I’m kind of stumped now. Can any of you Plex geniuses help me resolve my issue so I can get using my Plex.
Why are you using “was”?
Is this no longer the case?
If you have switched servers, ensure that this new server is still claimed by the same Plex user account that the old server also used.
If this is the case, you still might have to un-pin all the libraries of the old server from the left side bar of your Plex client(s), and pin the libraries of the new server instead.
