absurd, I do not believe it, from July 15 plex on amazon stick inserts advertising in your personal videos, every time you put a new video, even the communion of your child comes out advertising. Are we crazy? this is devastating.

I don’t have one, but it strikes me as unintended.
Plex has been quite adamant over the years that they’re not inserting ads into any personal content. This has been confirmed every now and then. The only situation where users followed up on this showed they were either not playing content from a local library (not the case you’re describing), they were watching recorded content that contained ads (also not the case you’re describing) or some very weird cases where other apps hijacked video streams to place their own ads (though I haven’t seen the latter for some time now).
Mind sharing some more details, e.g.
- on what version of Plex for FireOS are you seeing this (assuming you’re running the native app for the FireTV and not the browser version)?
- what version of PMS do you have installed on your server?
- do you see the same behavior on other Plex clients for the same videos?
