I have used plex and one day it stopped working
I have updated the software several times, uninstalled and reinstalled it
nothing seems to work. I have it installed but wont open, I can open it thru the web browser and see stuff on my other computers but not the one i use as the main one/
How do i get it to work again?

I am having this same problem. Started this morning. My PC crashed, and after I restarted it, the Plex Win 10 App doesn’t work. It will launch and show as running in the background (it can be seen in task manager), but it does not appear as a window on my desktop.
I have uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, and still nothing.
I can run the web app, but not the windows app.
Has anyone else had this issue and have a solution?
Also same results here. On my HP Spectre Laptop I can´t open Plex client app. Was working on Monday night.
As with TMad icon on task board indicates running app and task manager shown Plex but no Window to be seen or reached by Windows+curser.
Also re-installed to no avail. Very strange.

I fixed it by looking at the config file located at
...\AppData\Local\Plex\plex.ini
You’ll find those entries and mine had a funny negative entry, probably resulting from use of the Hotel TV I m staying in currently.

windowWidth=810
Adjust those pixel numbers to your liking and fitting your screen resolution. After updating the ini config file, plex would show its window again.
