So on my plex server it wont remove unavailable file paths. im on a windows 10 machine
my drives are split up into 2 drives one for letters A-M and one for letters N-Z
before it was all on one drive then i split the one drive into A-M so the original drive is still being used but letters N-Z from the original is missing and no matter how many times i scan what settings i turn on or off it wont remove the paths
Does Plex recognize the (old) files are no longer available (e.g. indicating it with a trash can icon on the poster or next to the movie title)?

Is the original source directory still linked to your library and could it be it is appearing to Plex as empty?
Are you pointing the library to the A-M and N-Z folders or to their parent folder?

“Yes” is not necessarily a helpful answer if there’s different options in question. Also the screenshot isn’t overly helpful here.
IF you have the A-M, N-Z folders under ...\Media\TV\TV\ (or they used to be there with the folders still being linked on your library settings) this could cause this kind of hiccup.
so they arnt on the same harddrive or anything they are on 2 different server lets call a-m num1 and n-z drive2 they arnt on the same harddrive
so should i rename the drive thats having problems deleting the files to drivename/a-m/tv so the paths arnt sorta the same?
Update, so i think my TV databse is corrupted cause i cant even remove the drive from from plex

yeah just couldnt remove path but after doing it like 20 times it removed and i was able to rescan all paths and delete the old ones
