Help! Upgrading PMS leads to endless loop, never actually upgrades.
This has happened in the past and my workaround was get the upgrade installed by deleting the server app and all preferences and support files for Plex and copying over the app download to Applications folder. Now I’ve tried it again cos the same thing happened, but now PMS is running but I can’t see anything in the browser window or via other Plex apps on the network. “http://127.0.0.1:32400/myplex/” blah blah timed out. No idea what I can do now
Another problem I have had is I can never see Plex outside of my network even tho I’ve got the port forwarded and I’ve gone thru everything in the troubleshooting remote access article. But now it’s worse so that I can’t even see the interface on the server itself.
