I am running Plex server and stream through all android based devices (except one windows pc).
I noticed that when trying to stream a show that plex has identified as being available on one of my streaming services, YoutubeTV is an option. Here is what i am experiencing. I can understand why it wont work on the windows pc as its trying to find a link which might be blocked by my adblocker. But why does it redirect sucessfully from the s23u and not the nvidia shield?
Ill try an explain what is happening as clear as I can, let me know if you need more info.
On the Nvidia shield: receive a playback failed error
Windows: Plex tries to redirect to a link such as “https://cj.dotomi.com”
Galaxy s23u: Youtubetv opens without an issue.
MAX, Discovery and Google Play to rent or purchase all work fine on all devices. The issue seems to be specifically to YoutubeTV and Paramount+, but may occur with other apps I have not tested.
