I found an old white remote that Apple used to bundle with their first generation Intel iMacs when the had software called Front Row. A magnet on the side of the computer allowed you to store the remote there when not in use.
Anyway, I was able to pair it with my 2011 iMac running Big Sur but Play/Pause did not seem to work. Well, 3.4.6 fixed that and now I can control Plexamp from across the room using a 15 year old remote.
