Plexamp 4.10 - Minor UI Regression

Plexamp 4.10 seems to have introduced a UI regression on the album & artist views on iOS and Android. Specifically the tabbed list control seen in the screenshots below now seems to always hitch when swiping between tabs (once you release your finger). The easiest way to reproduce this is to start on one tab, swipe >50% to the next tab, and then release your finger; there will always be a hitch that happens upon releasing your finger. This issue doesn’t seem to occur if you simply tap the dots at the bottom of the control to quickly navigate to a tab.

Additionally, on Android the control can sometimes freeze in the following state when swiping between tabs (though this behavior existed in 4.9.5 as well):

“hitch” meaning a slight hiccup?

Yes, the quick stutter that happens - in previous versions this was smooth. It only seems to be affecting this one component. You can see it here (kind of; the forum platform seems to have altered the framerate of my gif):

Here’s the actual original video in an archive format since I can’t seem to upload it raw for whatever reason:

If that’s your biggest complaint from the new release, I’m happy

I’m pretty happy with the new release too; thanks for all the hard work that went into it! It seems like a lot of community feedback was taken into account and, given the number of underlying changes, it’s really impressive that the only issues I’ve found so far are minor UI quirks.

Thanks! We’re really happy about that too

Weirdly, my home screen layout options completely reset across all 3 of my libraries when first running 4.10.0 on my Mac. My iPhone and iPad were fine though.

Yep, same here. On the desktop client (Windows 11) the layout settings were reset; on the mobile apps they are still intact.
