I’m using Plexamp on an 4th gen iPad pro. In library like Artist, Album, Tracks, … the right index is not working: clicking any letter does not move current position in the list.
It used to work on the same device in previous versions of plexamp.
I still experience this annoying bug with plexamp 3.7.1 and ipdos 15.0.1.
Any news ?
Can you please at least acknowledge that this is a bug on a feature that does not work anymore and you are able to reproduce it ?
I love plexamp but with big library this is a real problem.
I don’t have an iPad 4 at hand… but it’s still working ok for me on an iPhone. I always felt the index to be super tiny for my big fingers… so I really like how it’ll pop-up / highlight the selected index if I keep my finger on on of them for a moment and subsequently scroll up/down. I guess it’s some kind of long-press option… not sure if this was only added w/ iOS 15 or if I simply missed this option in the past.
TL;DR: have you tried long-pressing the index to see if this gives you a better experience (e.g. to rule out you’re missing the tiny buttons in the first place).
Yes I’ve tried long-pressing too but it still doesn’t work. I see the index as circled in red in the screenshot of my first post, but I’m not able to scroll the list with it.
This index used to work perfectly on the same device. I can’t tell the exact version number that introduced this issue. It was before august (I’ve waited some time before reporting it).
I’ve also tried to uninstall / reinstall the application but it did not changed this behavior.
Same issue after 3.5.0, for Mac(10.13.6), iPad mini 5 (14.8), iPhone (14.8).
In my case, now only Artist index does not work, Album, Tracks, Compilations start working after several changing order by upper-right three-dots option.
Very annoying for me too, since 1657 artists are in my library and forcing me many times scroll to reach middle ~ end of order. I hope you Labs to fix this.
There seems to be some changes in jump bar from 3.5.0 release notes. I had no problem 3.4.x or before and I guess these changes in 3.5.0 may somehow correspond.
