Plexamp 4.11.0 non-1-tap playback experience changed to worse

Hello! First of all thank you a lot for a feature packed update. Sadly I’m a member of minority of users who find the new behavior regarding the 1-tap playback annoying and impractical. Let me try to illustrate it the best I can.
I use 1-tap playback disabled. So if I have something in my queue I used to tap anywhere on the track title and was asked if I want to play the song and lose the queue, add it to the queue, or play it next. Now it just tells me that I am about to purge my queue. So now I can only play the song and purge my queue using the same number of taps like before… but nothing else.
Of course I can hit the three dots button on the side but that effectively makes 90 % of the screen space unusable for my usecase. Since in 99 % I want to add things to the queue. Long tap is also an option but it’s notoriously unreliable not only while driving when I use Plexamp the most.

tl;dr: Please, make an option to bring up context menu on tap back for us non-1-tap playback users.

Appreciate the measured and calm feedback!

We’re definitely listening and collecting feedback around the release, so thanks for providing some.

@matej_smetana : Same here. I had the exact same frustration. Now I have to long tap to add a song, even with “1-Tap Playback” disabled. To be fair, I can still make it work, but the long press seems like the wrong response when the “1-Tap Playback” is disabled. I really liked being able to tap the song once, and have Plexamp confirm the next action (Play Next or Add to queue, etc). Thanks for posting.

we’re reverting the change in the next release.
