Plexamp 4.2.1, iOS, resume after quit has no Sweet Fades

I am noticing that if I start a smart playlist, all works great. Once I reach the office, I pause the track and put away my ear buds. I will usually quit all running apps. At the end of the day, I turn my ear buds back on and open Plexamp to resume the smart playlist. The track resumes but fades out completely and continues the playlist but without any Sweet Fades creating a segue between tracks. If I return to the smart playlist contents and click the play button, it reloads the playlist and begins playing and includes Sweet Fades as intended.

Anyone else able to recreate this scenario?

There is a bug we’re fixing where the very first Sweet Fade after resuming the app doesn’t work, but then after that it’s fine.
