Plexamp 4.5.0 - Holy Moly What an Update! And we Have Presets! But which one am I using?

@elan thank you so much for adding the headphone presets to Plexamp. For the dongle warriors and headphone fanatics this is such an awesome add, huge!.

I would like to suggest one thing. Would it be possible for some sort of “Currently Applied Preset” Or “Preset Base Used” or “Preset Currently Selected” with the name of the preset next to it? To display in the Equalizer tab? So that way if I switch headphones I can look at the equalizer tab and know which curve is currently applied?

YEP! We’re almost there! 4.5 was definitely a great FANTASTIC update.

Someone mentioned something about saving presets but I piggybacked on that idea since I was familiar with that exact feature, already implemented in a Mac app called BOOM.

We are SOOO close to the ideal arrangements. IF we can get synced favorited presets that carry with our accounts rather than specifying them PER DEVICE, that would be the cherry on top.

As you can see, with @elan adding the database of headphones, its quite similar to what I was doing with several of my presets that I individually made for BOOM.

Yuuuuup! Something similar would be cherry. I rotate between 4 or 5 headphones and IEMs depending on what I’m doing. And I have EQ’s I like to use. Some form of naming presets or saving named custom presets would be dare I say PERFECTION. LOL

Yes, this is a great, new feature! Will try out settings on my headphones tonight, which were, incidentally, all included in the EQ list!

One suggestion from me too: Be able to toggle EQ on/off from keyboard short cut. And while on the subject of keyboard shortcuts, I’d like to suggest an option to select Source from a shortcut too (basically, toggle through Sources).

Plexamp keeps getting better and better. (Btw, I wouldn’t even be using TIDAL if it weren’t for Plexamp, because TIDAL players don’t support gapless playback. Plexamp gives me that and a small subscription discount!)
