Plexamp 4.5.3 Blank Window on Mac OS Ventura

For a few weeks now my Plexamp on my Mac Pro has been launching to a blank window and I can’t go anywhere or do anything past that. I am not seeing anything like an error in the Mac Activity Viewer. My server is running fine, and PlexAmp works on all my other devices.

You can find your Plexamp logs that Elan likes to see. I’m using it on an x64 Macbook with Ventura. Are you using Apple Silicon, and have you tried to uninstall it completely?

To uninstall Plexamp for Mac

Open Finder, hold down your Option button → Go menu → Library
The things to remove would be:

  1. ~/Library/Application Support/Plexamp
  2. ~/Library/Caches/Plexamp
  3. ~/Library/Preferences/tv.plex.plexamp.plist

Drag the Plexamp application from Applications to your Trash
Empty Trash.
Restart Mac.
Reinstall Plexamp.

Thank you very much. This solved the issue. Mine is an older MacBook (2017 with Intel Silicon).
At times I wish more developers made uninstall scripts for times just like this.
