I noticed recently the add to library button on artists on shared servers. I was able to successfully add an album from a shared server to my library. When I looked for ways to remove it, though. I couldn’t find anything in the plexamp app. I did find an option to remove the item from my library in the Plex web app. After I did that, however, I find that items that I add to my library will no longer play. Instead they just load track by track and then skip forward to the next track (video link below). I can, however, still play the album if I play it from the shared server rather than from the item that was added to my library.
How do you intend for someone to remove an item from the library after it has been added? Did I somehow damage the database for this item when I removed the item and then added it back (which was what I did in this case – I had added one album, and I removed that one and then added it back plus one more. Neither of the albums will play from my library in Plex amp. Currently both of them will play from the items in my library in the Plex Web App.
I have tried restarting my server, and force refreshing PlexAmp as well as closing plexamp and reopening and power cycling the phone
