Plexamp and/or plexamp playlist export/availability

I couldn’t find a right category for this as it spans 3 device types, android, firestick and windows.

i use plexamp a lot and am getting to like it - for some reason (i haven’t seen a blog announcement about any advance in tech) the track to track syncing seems to have got a whole lot better just lately, it wasn’t long ago it took the form of a dozen monkeys randomly bashing dustbin lids together. now it is pretty slick and uses different matching techniques according to the adjacent tracks, i’d be interested to know of the hows and whys on these changes in general curiosity, but my practical questions are …

  1. does anybody know of a way of loading plexamp to firestick? or using plexamp playlists in the plex firestick app?

  2. aside from the sledgehammer/nut solution of using an android environment in windows, blue stacks or similar, does anybody know of a way of exporting or otherwise using plexamps playlists in a regular plex windows desktop player?

  1. not possible
  2. there is Plexamp for Windows available

thanks otto

  1. actually it is possible. since posting the question i have discovered that plexamp playlists do appear in the regular plex players across all the platforms i use, so i can access them in windows and firestick. they took a while to propagate, but they are available now.

  2. i’ll try to find it, thanks
