Plexamp can't cast downloaded songs. Help!

I have some albums Plexamp that I have downloaded to my phone, but they can’t be casted. Only music that isn’t downloaded can be casted. What gives?

If there is an issue casting it because it’s on my phone, it would be great if there was a setting like “stream downloaded songs while casting” or something along those lines.

Bump…

For music playback, plexamp is simpler than the plex app. Why the restrictions when the plex app can cast synced downloads?

This is strange I have a load of music downloaded that I would like to cast using Plexamp, the whole idea of the app is to use it as a dedicated player, why doesn’t this work?

I agree. This lack of support for casting local files does seem like an oversight. Hoping for support in future :crossed_fingers:
