Why is there a difference between Plexamp for computer and Plexamp for iPhone when dealing with selectable outputs? In the iPhone app I can select all AirPlay devices on the network, but in the computer version there’s only non-AirPlay devices. Why?
Thank you for posting this. I couldn’t get Airplay to work in 4.8.3 either and thought I misconfigured my network. You saved me hours of fruitless debugging. Hopefully this can be resolved soon. For now I’ll stream to the Airplay-enabled speakers from my phone.
Airplay receivers only show in the Cast/Players list when on iOS … from MacOS you can select an Airplay receiver in the app settings for audio output (after first selecting it in the OS system menu for sound)
