Does plexamp support chromecast? For the life in me I can’t see it…

I think they were thinking this is a “Plex Labs” project which means it’s meant to test new ideas and features that might get rolled into the main Plex project. It’s not meant to be a feature complete replacement.
They’ve said in the forum there’s plans to add chromecast. They probably just wanted to get something out there for us to play with rather than keep in in beta for 3 years until every feature every user wants is in there

It’s a very basic feature and isn’t exactly out there is it… Not hard to include considering the features it has, I mean come on how many people use a music app nowadays and don’t stream it in one way or another… seems silly to push it as hard as you have without some basic functions… Anyway peace out even through Rory did sound aggressive…
And seems very beta to me Rory think you are confusing alpha with beta
Elan, the development on this app is coming along. It is easy to use and dedicated to the music listener!!! I will continue to use it and look forward to further developments

The missing Chromecast feature on Android is the one thing that keeps me from using it further. I have a Chromecast Audio hooked up to my big active Nubert speakers.
Let’s hope they carry on the good work.

I have a similar situation as a lot of other people. I have the best speakers hooked up to a stereo system with chromecast.
For when I’m on the road, Plexamp is great - but adding chromecast support would be a killer feature.

Yes, Chromecast audio support must be there. Just bought a month Plex pass for my server since Google Music is shutting down and I wanted to see if this could work as an alternative, but whithout Chromecast support it is useless for me. Apart from theat, the amp app looks good.
